Freya
“Dance with me, with your creative energy. Let your sensuality set you free.”
Goddess of the Norse pantheon, Freya is the Lady of the Vanir tribe, traditionally connected with magic.
She is the seductive goddess of beauty, sensuality, love, and fertility. She is also a powerful goddess associated with magic, witchcraft, and transformative processes.
Freya fosters our self-awareness and self-esteem in relation to our own beauty and sexuality. She enjoys showing us our own worth and capacity for seduction.
She is usually depicted with her falcon-like cloak, which allows her to fly, and her golden necklace called Brisingamen, a gift from the dwarves and a symbol of her power. She travels in a chariot drawn by two cats, Bygul and Trjegul. Some of the flowers associated with her are daisies, snowdrops, scarlet pimpernels, and primroses. Her quintessential tree is the linden.
